Claiming your profile
How do I claim my business?
Find your business at Find your business, make an account, and press "This is my business". It is free. We also ask for the name of the person who holds your trade license, because in Connecticut most licenses are held by a person rather than the company.
Someone already claimed my business.
Email support@tradecheckusa.com from an address at your business and we will sort it out. We never hand a claimed profile to a second person without checking.
Does claiming make me verified?
No. Claiming lets you edit your page. Verification is a separate check, also free.
Getting verified
What do you check?
Your trade license and your insurance. You upload them from the Verification page in your dashboard, and a person at TradeCheck checks them against the source that issued them.
Does it cost anything?
No. Verification is free and is never sold. Paying for Pro never makes a business verified.
What does the badge say?
That we checked the credentials listed on your page, and the date we checked them. Nothing more.
How long does it take?
A person reviews every one, usually within a few business days. Your dashboard shows where it stands.
What happens when something expires?
Your badge turns off by itself on the expiry date. Upload the renewed document and it comes back once it is checked. Pro members get a reminder 30 days before.
TradeCheck Pro
What is Pro?
$297 a year, about two months free, or $29 a month. It adds the TradeCheck seal on your own website, an enhanced profile with photos, services, service area and reviews, a QR code for trucks, yard signs and estimates, quote requests sent straight to you, a monthly report, and expiry reminders.
What is the founding rate?
The first 100 Pro contractors keep their rate for as long as they stay subscribed.
Does Pro include review campaigns or Google profile work?
No. TradeCheck checks credentials and gives you tools. Done-for-you marketing is offered separately by Profit Revive, a different company.
Does my website seal go away if I cancel?
Yes, at the end of the period you paid for. Your free verified badge on TradeCheck stays.
Billing
How do I change my card, see invoices, or cancel?
Dashboard, then Billing, then Manage billing. That opens a secure Stripe page where you can do all three.
Can I switch from monthly to annual?
Yes, from Manage billing. Stripe credits what is left of your month.
I was on an older plan.
You keep your rate and everything your plan included. Nothing changes unless you change it.
Refunds
What is the refund policy?
The annual Pro plan has a full refund within 30 days of payment, no questions. Email support@tradecheckusa.com from the address on the account.
And monthly?
Cancel anytime and you are not charged again. The current month is not refunded.
